ぐんまちゃん家（ぐんま総合情報センター）Gunma-chan-chi (Gunma General Information Center)
ぐんまちゃん家というと、いかにもぐんまちゃんが住んでいるかのような施設の名前ですが、なんと東京の銀座にあるのです。「ぐんま総合情報センター ぐんまちゃん家」というのが正式名称です。

１階には群馬のグッズ（ぐんまちゃんグッズを含む）を置いているショップがあるほか、観光案内と移住相談も行っています。２階は群馬県産の和牛などをいただける和食レストランになっています。
それにしても銀座７丁目ってすごい場所にありますよね。電車で行くなら、最寄り駅が２つあります。
１．地下鉄 日比谷線・丸ノ内線・銀座線 「銀座駅」A3出口から徒歩4分
２．地下鉄 日比谷線 または 都営浅草線 「東銀座駅」A1出口から徒歩5分
JRの駅から歩きたい場合は、駅から歩く距離は長くなりますが…
3. JR東海道本線・山手線・京浜東北線・横須賀線など 「新橋駅」JR銀座口から徒歩8分
以前は別の場所にあったのですが、お引越しをしたんですね。今の建物の外観はこんな感じです。
Gunma-chan-chi is the name of the facility where Gunma-chan lives, but it is actually located in Ginza, Tokyo. The official name is “Gunma General Information Center Gunma-chan House”.

On the first floor, there is a shop selling Gunma goods (including Gunma-chan goods), as well as tourist information and immigration consultation. The second floor is a Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy Wagyu beef from Gunma Prefecture.
Anyway, Ginza 7-chome is in a great location. If you go by train, there are two nearest stations.
- 4 minutes walk from Exit A3 of Ginza Station on the Hibiya Line, Marunouchi Line, and Ginza Line
- 5 minutes walk from Exit A1 of Higashi Ginza Station on the Hibiya Subway Line or Toei Asakusa Line
If you want to walk from the JR station, it will be a long walk from the station…
- 8 minutes walk from the JR Ginza exit of Shinbashi Station on JR Tokaido Main Line, Yamanote Line, Keihin Tohoku Line, Yokosuka Line, etc.

不定期にぐんまちゃんが登場します。私がぐんまちゃん家に行ったときは、夏だったこともあり、浮き輪をもったぐんまちゃん（女の子）が登場しました。男の子のぐんまちゃんに恋している私はちょっぴり残念。でも、女の子のぐんまちゃんもカワイイですね。

お店の中でも人気者でした。ぐんまちゃん追いかけてたらピンボケしてしまいましたが…。
この写真でぐんまちゃん家の中の様子が少しだけわかるかもしれませんが、ぐんまちゃん家の中には群馬名物の食品や雑貨が置かれているコーナーと、ぐんまちゃんグッズコーナーがありました。こじんまりしている場所なので、そんなに時間をかけずに一回りすることができます。でも、意外といろんな商品があるので、いつの間にか買い物かごの中にはたくさんの商品が入っていました。

This photo may give you a little idea of the inside of Gunma-chan’s house, but inside Gunma-chan’s house there was a corner where Gunma’s famous foods and miscellaneous goods were placed, as well as a Gunma-chan goods corner. It’s a small place, so you can walk around it without spending too much time. However, there are a surprising variety of products, so before I knew it, I had a lot of products in my shopping cart.
群馬県民センターGunma Prefectural Citizens Center
ぐんまちゃん家にもぐんまちゃんグッズはある程度売っていますが…。やはりぐんまちゃんといえば群馬県でしょう。というわけで、ここからは群馬県内でぐんまちゃんグッズを購入できる場所２ケ所をご紹介したいと思います。まずは群馬県庁内の群馬県民センター！群馬県ですからね。やはり群馬県庁には行きたいところです。特にぐんまちゃんファンにとっては「聖地」だと思っています。群馬県庁は周りで一番高い建物なので目立ちます。近くにいればこの建物を目指して歩けば到着します。前橋駅や新前橋駅からバスが出ていて、どちらの駅からもバスで７分程度です。県庁のすぐ近くにバス停がありますのでバスで行っても便利です。

So, I would like to introduce two places in Gunma Prefecture where you can purchase Gunma-chan goods. First up is the Gunma Prefectural Citizens Center inside the Gunma Prefectural Office! It’s Gunma Prefecture. I still want to go to Gunma Prefectural Office. I think it’s a sacred place, especially for Gunma-chan fans. Gunma Prefectural Office stands out because it is the tallest building in the area. If you are nearby, just walk towards this building and you will arrive. Buses depart from Maebashi Station and Shin-Maebashi Station, and it takes about 7 minutes by bus from either station. There is a bus stop right near the prefectural office, so it is convenient to go by bus.
もともとは、このぐんまちゃんの石像の写真を撮るために群馬県庁へ行ったのです。せっかく県庁に来たから入ってみようと思って入り、２階に上がったら…群馬県民センターを見て感激！ぐんまちゃん大好きな私にとっては…やはり聖地でした。県庁内にあるのに、土日も開いているんですね。これにも感激しました。
Originally, I went to Gunma Prefectural Office to take a photo of this stone statue of Gunma-chan. Since I came to the prefectural office, I decided to go inside, and when I went up to the second floor…I was so impressed when I saw the Gunma Prefectural Citizens Center! For me, who loves Gunma-chan, it was a sacred place. Even though it’s located within the prefectural office, it’s open on Saturdays and Sundays as well. I was also very impressed with this.
ぐんまちゃんと写真を撮れるぐんまちゃんスタジオあり、たくさんのぐんまちゃんグッズの販売コーナーあり。やはり銀座のぐんまちゃん家よりも断然商品数は多かったです。そりゃそうですね…。そして県民センターですから、群馬に関するたくさんの資料もあります。群馬の資料にはほぼ「ぐんまちゃん」が印刷されているんですね。広報や各種資料にぐんまちゃんの絵が入っているから、思わず手に取ってしまいました。
There is a Gunma-chan studio where you can take photos with Gunma-chan, and a sales corner with many Gunma-chan goods. As expected, there were definitely more products than Gunma-chanya in Ginza. That’s right… And since it’s a prefectural citizen center, it also has a lot of materials about Gunma. Almost all Gunma materials have “Gunma-chan” printed on them. I couldn’t help but pick up Gunma-chan’s pictures because they were included in the public relations and various materials.
ぐんまちゃんショップ（ぐんまちゃんSHOP）Gunma-chan Shop (Gunma-chan SHOP)
ぐんまちゃんグッズを売っているだけのお店ってどこにあるの？というと、高崎駅にあります。高崎駅の駅ビルというのか、構内というのか、駅直結の建物内にあります。このぐんまちゃんSHOPは、ぐんまちゃんグッズの専門店で、何といっても群馬県公認のぐんまちゃん専門店なのです。高崎駅に群馬県公認のぐんまちゃんグッズ専門店があるのは驚きでした。
夏に行ったこともあり、涼しげにすいかを持ったぐんまちゃんが出迎えてくれました。中にはぎっしりとぐんまちゃん、ぐんまちゃん、ぐんまちゃんの世界が！ぐんまちゃんグッズに癒されたい時にはここに来たいものです。しかし、気を付けないと…たくさん買ってしまいます。
Where can I find a store that just sells Gunma-chan goods? It’s located at Takasaki Station. It is located in the Takasaki Station station building, or rather within the premises, or in a building directly connected to the station. This Gunma-chan SHOP is a specialty store for Gunma-chan goods, and above all, it is a Gunma-chan specialty store officially recognized by Gunma Prefecture. I was surprised to find that there is a Gunma-chan goods specialty store authorized by Gunma Prefecture at Takasaki Station.
Since I went there in the summer, Gunma-chan was there to greet me, holding a watermelon to keep me cool. Inside is the world of Gunma-chan, Gunma-chan, and Gunma-chan! When you want to be healed by Gunma-chan goods, you want to come here. But if you’re not careful…you’ll end up buying a lot.

ぐんまちゃん家は、たしかに置いてあるぐんまちゃんグッズの点数は他２件に比べたら少ないです。しかし、ぐんまちゃん家しか売っていないものもありました。私がぐんまちゃん家に行った時、桐生織のポーチ、名刺入れがあったのですが、欲しい柄がそろわず、群馬県民センターにも、ぐんまちゃんSHOPにも足を運びましたがありませんでした。群馬県民センターにも、ぐんまちゃんSHOPにも、私が欲しかった桐生織のシリーズが置いていなかったのです。
できれば３か所ともまわり、自分が欲しいぐんまちゃんグッズと巡り合えるといいですね。
ただ残念なお知らせが１点あります。銀座にある「ぐんまちゃん家」は廃止の検討がなされています。もしかしたら近い将来、閉店してしまう可能性もありますから、早めに行ってみた方がよいかもしれません。

Gunma-chan House certainly has fewer Gunma-chan goods than the other two. However, there were some items that only Gunma-chan family could sell. When I went to Gunma-chan’s house, they had a Kiryu-ori pouch and a business card holder, but they didn’t have the pattern I wanted, so I went to the Gunma Prefectural Civic Center and Gunma-chan SHOP, but they didn’t have them. Neither Gunma Prefectural Center nor Gunma-chan SHOP had the Kiryuori series that I wanted.
If possible, it would be great if you could visit all three locations and find the Gunma-chan goods you want.
However, there is one unfortunate piece of news. “Gunmachanya” in Ginza is being considered for closure. There is a possibility that it may close in the near future, so it might be better to go there early.
